A picturesque village set amid spectacular scenery at the foot of the mighty Eiger, Grindelwald, the 'Village of the Glaciers', offers superb skiing for all grades. It has an efficient gondola system rising steeply from the sleepy resort centre, taking skiers straight to the heart of the pistes above. From here, skiers are blessed with easily accessible and fantastic skiing on the resort’s wide, south-facing slopes. Later in the season, skiers revel in long hours of spring sunshine, drinking and eating on the many rustic mountain terraces.
The village itself offers a surprisingly lively and varied après-ski, and the main street is lined with bustling shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Quieter nights-in are preferred by many in the chalets, enjoying convivial drinks round log fires and dinner tables.

Traditionally furnished with much use of pine, the Sunstar enjoys a convenient location opposite the ‘First’ gondola and is just 3 minutes’ walk from the village centre.

Price includes: Flights, transfers by Swiss rail 2nd class Zurich to Grindelwald, 4 nights accommodation on a half board basis & services of Inghams representatives.
Rail transfers to Grindelwald from Zurich airport take 3.5 hours by train and are included in the holiday price.

Baggage allowance: 20 kgs. Carriage of skis does not need to be pre-booked but skis will form part of your baggage allowance and excess baggage charges may be applied.
Ticketing information: Holidays are booked from an allocation held by facevalues.org.uk with Inghams. You are making a confirmed reservation - bookings are not subject to availability. Inghams will send you their confirmation/ invoice the next working day after receipt of your booking. Tickets will be dispatched 14 days before departure.
Special requests: If you have any special requests (vegetarian meals etc.) please enter them under Special Requirements when booking online. Special Requests will be noted but cannot be guaranteed.
Please note a charge of 1.5% applies when payment is made by credit (not debit) card. A deposit of £115 is payable when your booking is confirmed. The balance is due 10 weeks prior to departure.
